SubGrab Now Transcribes Niconico, Naver TV, CHZZK, SOOP, WeTV & Weibo

SubGrab now supports 28 platforms — and the six newest are all about East Asia. Japanese, Korean, and Chinese video finally gets the same one-paste transcription workflow as YouTube: paste the link, get accurate text with timestamps, download TXT, SRT, or VTT.

What's new

• [Niconico](/niconico-transcript) (ニコニコ動画) — Japan's original video community. Works with nicovideo.jp/watch/sm... links, legacy numeric IDs, and nico.ms short links.
• [Naver TV](/navertv-transcript) (네이버TV) — K-content clips, news, and creator videos. tv.naver.com/v/... links, including mobile and legacy tvcast forms.
• [CHZZK](/chzzk-transcript) (치지직) — Naver's streaming platform. Paste a finished VOD (다시보기) link like chzzk.naver.com/video/....
• [SOOP](/soop-transcript) (숲, formerly AfreecaTV) — Korea's long-running live platform. vod.sooplive.com/player/... links work, and old AfreecaTV links are accepted too.
• [WeTV](/wetv-transcript) — Tencent Video's international service. Free public episodes of C-dramas, variety shows, and documentaries transcribe fine; VIP-locked episodes can't be accessed.
• [Weibo](/weibo-transcript) (微博) — China's public square. All three common link shapes work: weibo.com/tv/show/..., m.weibo.cn status links, and profile video links.

Why these six

Every platform we add goes through the same gate: it must extract reliably from our servers, on real videos, before we ship it. These six passed. Some big names didn't — yet:

• Douyin (抖音): the extraction path is currently broken platform-side for every tool, not just ours. Our pipeline updates itself daily, so when it's fixed upstream, we can enable it quickly. Meanwhile, if the creator also posts to TikTok, that link works today — or save the video and use file upload.
• Youku, iQIYI, Tencent Video (v.qq.com): blocked or DRM-protected for overseas access. WeTV covers much of Tencent's catalog internationally.
• Xiaohongshu / RED, Kuaishou: not reliably extractable right now; we're watching both.
• Spotify: DRM-protected, so no tool can transcribe from a link. Podcast episodes on Apple Podcasts work instead.

For anything we don't support, file upload is the universal fallback: save the video, upload the file, get the same transcript.
