How to Transcribe One Part of a Multi-Part Bilibili Video
Bilibili videos with several parts (分P) have one link per part. Here's how to copy the link to the part you want, and how SubGrab prices and transcribes just that part.
Short answer
A multi-part Bilibili video (分P) keeps every part under one BV number, and the part is chosen by the p= number in the link, such as ?p=3. Pick the part in the episode list, copy the address once it shows ?p=, and paste it into SubGrab. SubGrab transcribes that part only and charges for that part's length.
Many Bilibili uploads aren't one video. A course of 30 lessons, a season of a show or a long stream split into chapters is often posted as a single upload with several parts, which Bilibili calls 分P. Every part shares one BV number, so the link has to say which part you mean.
How Bilibili Links to a Part
The part is the p= number at the end of the link:
bilibili.com/video/BV1xxxxxxxxx/plays part 1bilibili.com/video/BV1xxxxxxxxx/?p=3plays part 3
Other bits in the address, such as spm_id_from or vd_source, are tracking details and don't change which part plays.
Step by Step
1. Open the video on Bilibili and choose the part you want from the episode list (视频选集).
2. Check that the address now ends in ?p= and the part's number.
3. Copy the full address from the address bar.
4. Paste it into the box on the Bilibili transcript page.
5. SubGrab shows the part's title and length before you confirm.
If you have a b23.tv short link, open it in your browser first and copy the full address it lands on, so the address shows the part's ?p= number.
What It Costs
You pay for the part you picked, not the whole upload: 1 credit per started hour of audio. One series we looked at has 200 parts adding up to 146 hours, and its third part is 56 minutes long, so transcribing part 3 costs 1 credit.
Until 23 October 2026, SubGrab read only the BV number, so a link to a later part was priced and transcribed as part 1. It now reads the part number, prices that part's own length and transcribes that part.
Getting the Best Transcript
Bilibili videos have no public captions, so SubGrab transcribes the audio with AI. Mandarin speech on clear audio comes out with high accuracy, punctuation and a timestamp on every line. The language is detected automatically, so a Mandarin video comes back in Mandarin and an English one in English. Background music, game audio and heavy dialect lower the accuracy.

Frequently asked
What happens if my link has no ?p= number?
Bilibili plays part 1, and so does SubGrab. To transcribe a later part, open it first so the address shows its ?p= number.
Can I transcribe every part at once?
Not in one go. Paste each part's link separately. Each is priced at its own length, 1 credit per hour of audio, and each part can be up to 10 hours long.
Does a b23.tv short link keep the part?
Open the short link in your browser first, check that the address shows the part's ?p= number, and copy that full address. Then the part you meant is the part that gets transcribed.
